You've got all the right ideas about would would help prevent you from getting too much sun on a hot sunny day in Auckland. Good for you! We try to wear hats, sunscreen, shirts with sleeves and sunglasses when we go out in the summer too. And I always seek out shade!! We have a dog, Spirit, who is walked every day and so we try to make it as easy on her as possible by not walking in the middle of the day when it's hottest, and finding a route that's got some shade.
Do you have a pet in your family?
I hope you're having some really nice, sunny summer days over your holiday and I hope you'll keep working on these Summer Learning Journey activities - it's great to have you participating in the program this summer!
